DIGIPAK ANALYSIS

BY JOSH SCOTT

The style it's done in is very indicative of the electronic genre where the album really serves a piece of art to dress the music. The art may have very little to do with the music itself but nearly always features something idetifiable about the artist(s). In this case it's the blue and yellow mask on the panther.

The art style gives us an impression of what the music may sound like. The hand and background give off a really modern, minimalistic feel and the panther suggests that there's an element of tribal music there too, which rings true when you hear the album.

The main image features a mettalic hand holding what appears to be a panther wearing a mask. The mask imagery has been carried over from previous albums to maintain a brand identity.

The red background contrasts with the black of the panther and the cooler tones on the hand which makes the cover incredibly striking to look at.

The back panel is even more plain than the front with only the red background and the track names being listed.
