Design elements are used on magazine pages to add effect and make pages different to one another. I analysed different double page spreads to look at the different design elements used to help me when i come to make mine.
The design element of the black background behind the writing is really interesting it makes the bold writing stand out and it is not a neat block its a bit crazy keep dipping.
The different size fonts is interesting and unique. The big letters seem to be the most eye-catching compared to the little letters.
The drop capital just adds as another design element to add interest and effect. It takes up 9 lines which is quite big.
All of the colour of the text has come out of the colours from her shirt of which is black and white. This then makes the red from her shirt seem more illuminated than the other colours.
